I had the ultimate privilege of visiting one of the most beautiful countries in Africa - UGANDA!! My dad and I travelled throughout the country for two weeks viewing various wildlife, meeting incredible people and soaking up the unique culture. Of course one of the highlights of our trip was being able to trek and view the highly endangered mountain gorillas!! We had the pleasure of tracking the Bitukura family in the region of Ruhiga within the Bwindi Mountains! We were so so lucky and only had to track for 30 minutes before we came across 3 silverbacks and 2 blackbacks! Unfortunately they were eating amongst many leaves and vines so my pictures didn't turn out the best however being able to spend an hour with them was a once in a lifetime experience!!
